DSE Assessor training gives delegates the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify DSE hazards and risks, carry out effective workstation assessments and determine the appropriate action where issues are identified, in accordance with the abilities set out in the DSE Regulations guidance under “Who should do assessments?”

Employers are required to protect workers from the health risks associated with display screen equipment (DSE), including PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones. The DSE Regulations apply where workers use DSE regularly as a significant part of their normal work. Organisations therefore need people with the appropriate knowledge and skills (DSE assessors) to carry out DSE assessments and help manage any risks identified.
